On October 15, Post 800 honored Ed Westlake for his service to the country during the Korean War and for his 71 years of continuous membership in the American Legion. Ed was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation (shown below) along with a card that entitles him to one free drink on every visit to the club. In addition, he received a hand crafted American flag, created by Joe Gentilcore, Sr. Many of Ed's friends came to congratulate Ed and share the moment with him.
